Booking Terms & Professional Fees

Welcome to Lantern Counselling Hub. To ensure we provide the best possible care and maintain a sustainable practice, please review our booking terms below.

1. Counselling Fees (Per Session)

Service Type Investment

Individual Counselling $130

Couples Counselling $190

Student Special $100

All fees are in AUD. Full payment is required to finalise your booking or immediately following your session as outlined below.

2. Payment Terms

To maintain a seamless experience, we offer several secure payment methods:

Online Sessions: Payment is required in advance via Bank Transfer.

In-Person Sessions: Payment may be made in advance or immediately following the session at our Springwood office.

Bank Transfers: Please use your Invoice Number or Full Name as the reference to ensure your payment is assigned correctly.

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

We value your time and ask that you value ours. When you book a session, that time is reserved exclusively for you.

24+ Hours’ Notice: You may reschedule or cancel your appointment with no penalty. Any prepaid fees will be fully refunded or credited to a future session.

Less than 24 Hours’ Notice: A $55 cancellation fee applies.

This fee helps cover administrative costs and the inability to offer the timeslot to another client on our waiting list.

Non-Attendance (No Show): The $55 fee applies to all missed appointments without prior notice.

4. Session Formats & Client Responsibilities

We provide a safe, confidential environment whether we meet in person or virtually.

For All Clients:

Punctuality: Please arrive (or log in) on time. If you are late, your session will still conclude at the scheduled time to respect the next client’s appointment.

Respect: We maintain a strictly professional and respectful environment. Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will result in the immediate termination of the session.

For Online (Telehealth) Sessions:

Privacy: Ensure you are in a private, quiet space where you cannot be overheard.

Technology: Please check your internet connection and audio/video settings prior to the start time.

Engagement: To get the most out of your therapy, please refrain from multitasking or driving during your session.
